Review: NYC 16H Lip Stain

I bought these on sale in two colours, Champagne Stain (the pink) for everyday wear and Unstoppable Red for a fancy dress costume. They come in the form of chunky felt tip pens and look like this:
The pink one was the first one I opened. It was a bit of a disappointment. The tip was not letting ink flow through properly and needed to be shaken and then practically scrubbed on the skin to get a decent colour payoff. The tip still wasn't working. Over time it has become easier to use though and the colour is a dark, neutral type pink.
The red one, on the other hand was the total opposite. When I applied it the pigmentation was incredible, and the tip worked really well.
The colour was really long lasting. I don't think it was 16H but I only needed to reapply once.
I swatched and wore the colours in the photos below:
I found the red was more pink than I expected, and throughout the day it became almost fuschia.

The only other bad point was they were slightly drying on the lips. The price was good at £3.99 each although I think I bought them on sale at around £2.50.
Overall I give them ❤️❤️
Love you all,
Flossie xx
